I mentioned in my silvers comparison post that OPI My Signature Is "DC" was on my shopping list for the very near future, and it was the first bottle I grabbed when I drove up to Ulta. No, I didn't really need more silver, and no, I didn't really care. Love, love, LOVE this polish.
This is two smooth and easy coats of OPI My Signature Is "DC" (you may get away with a single coat if you're generous and even enough!), and the formula is simply wonderful. Great spread, great control, great all of it. And it's so, so freaking shiny!
Bright or low light, it's beautifully reflective, and while I've worn a lot of silvers lately this one really made me think of molten metal. The foil particles do scatter the light, so it's not a mirror finish, but it still reminded me of that cool, melty T-1000 from Terminator 2.
How awesome is that finish? And if anything, my top coat may have slightly muted its reflective gleam. OPI My Signature Is "DC" may not be utterly unique among the silvers in my collection, but it is 100% fabulous.
