OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby.

Beyond my go-to and fully awesome gold, Zoya Ziv, I tend to be soooo much more into silvers. Plus I already have a good--a really good--suede gold polish, so did I really need another one? The answer is yes. Most absolutely yes! 'Cause I am totally in love with OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby.

From the recent Gwen Stefani collection, OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby is a gorgeous gold that dries to a sexy satin/suede finish. It's a soft gold, all kinds of lovely, not garish is any way. It holds hints of yellow and platinum, and I'm fairly certain it's also part butter. Crazy-smooth, gorgeous love.

Love.Angel.Music.Baby feels like a fitting counterpart to the silver Miss Universe satin/suede, This Gown Needs a Crown, which is a big, fat compliment to both. And in addition to being ridiculously pretty, this polish's formula was so easy to work with, spreading evenly and covering well in two coats (compulsion made me do a third coat, but it really was already great at two).

Even doubting whether I was going to love this gold as much as its sister silver, I was already grinning like an idiot while applying the first coat. Then I held my hand up to the light and literally gasped. And while it's sinfully pretty as its matte, suede self, it looks fabulous with top coat too!

Seriously, OPI is just killing it with this finish. Please consider this my official request for an entire collection full of these!

  3. Beautiful! But how long does it last without a top coat?

  4. Agreed! This finish is awesome. Can't speak to wear 'cause I only had it on for a weekend, but it held up just fine.
