I love tweed because of Giles, I love pink because of pink, and I've wanted to do a pink, tweed manicure for ages because I love this one of Nory's. Did I come close? No. No, I did not. But tweed is such a fun pattern to do that I ain't even mad.
The base for these is OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazillian. I don't know how well it suits me personally, but it's a welcome addition to the stash. Not too cool or too warm, nice and bright, just an awesome, medium pink with a fantastic formula. Opaque in two coats and creamy smooth.
Given my complete and total inability to draw an actual straight line I knew I'd never keep my stitches to such a nice grid pattern as Nory's, so I stuck with my STITCHES EVERYWHERE! approach from last time...which came out a little messy, all zoomed in close like this, but the effect looks great once you get about half an arm's length away and the pattern can start to blend. For those of you who remember your Clueless, it's kind of a Monet, but like...in a good way. Maybe.
Ugh, I still can't tell if I'm disappointed or if I love them! (>_<)
