Zoya Liberty

My hard-core crush on the Pixie Dust line continues with Zoya Liberty. Due to its high adorability factor, it's one of those polishes I feel like I should be able to ramble about for paragraphs on end, but that sparkly blue pretty much speaks for itself...

One of the Summer 2013 Pixie Dusts, Liberty is a rich and vibrant cyan blue that has apparently been suffused with teeny particles of sparkle and magic. I mean, honestly, just look at all those little twinkles!

At the risk of sounding broken-record-y, the formula was pretty much like every Zoya Pixie Dust I've tried so far, which is to say that it's a little bottle of awesome. It is most definitely worth noting, though, that Liberty will stain. Having read about the staining, I literally tripled up on base coat, and I still got staining. It wasn't anything a little buffing and a good hand wash couldn't cure, but I have to assume that if you didn't go big with the base coat your nails would probably look like you'd just sunk them deep into the still-warm flesh of a vanquished smurf.

Fortunately for me, I was forewarned, thus amply armed, and am therefore left with nothing but the wonderful memories of how Zoya Liberty made me feel like Sailor Mercury.

  2. I love all Zoyas from Pixie collection, this is not exception! I have some other sands but they don't even compare, even from OPI. Maybe the reason is that I like them to have smaller glitter as Zoya does :)
