From the Spring 2012 Blossoming Collection, this is Color Club Blue-Ming...
This green-leaning turquoise spent a while on my wish list before I finally got my hands on it. I'd read a couple of less-than-raves about the formula, but I just couldn't resist that fabulous minty teal. Unfortunately the formula definitely has its issues.
The first coat was very streaky and patchy, but that's possibly to be expected from what appears to be the love child of a neon and a pastel. The second and third coats weren't that much better, though. They were just kind of...I don't know...messy? More patchiness. It's not irrevocably atrocious, I don't think, but it got significant help smoothing itself out from a rushed top coat of SV and still couldn't quite make the turn at the arch of my ring and pinky nails. (To be fair those are some pretty sharp turns; both fingers have wicked c-curves, but then, most polishes do seem to manage it.)
When it comes to the colour it's a definite case of "It's not you; it's me," because this sort of shade is exactly the kind of colour I love the most-est in a nail polish. Even now, looking only at the colour, I'm still all smiley and smitten with it, but I can freely admit that it does not do a thing for me. Maybe it would look better on someone with a darker skin tone than mine? I'm afraid it just makes my pale go pasty. All in all, I still think it's dreamy in the bottle--I definitely see some nail art details in its future--but I'm not likely to wrestle it into a full manicure again.
