Today I have some long overdue swatches to share on behalf of Dazzled! This is NailNation 3000 Holo Dreams...
NailNation 3000 Holo Dreams is a lovely, silver, linear holographic polish. It's a less flashy holo than some, but it flares beautifully in more direct light and is currently bending into soft rainbows in the hazy, overcast, indirect light that's filtering through my window.
As with the other NailNation 3000 polishes I've tried, the formula was buttery smooth and very easy to control. Holo Dreams has a thin first coat, but the three I'm wearing here were easily and completely opaque, even on my VNL-prone nails. (I also sandwiched another layer of base coat between 2 and 3 here, rather than risk diminishing the holo flare with top coat.)
With Holo Dreams you get beautiful rainbows when the light is bright, and when it's dim, you have a seriously pretty silver with the most amazing shimmer that's--unless my eyeballs went completely insane--very subtly golden, almost like a fine mist of champagne among the silver. If you like your holos loud and intense, this might not be the holo you're looking for, but if you want some silvery rainbows that are soft and pretty and catch the eye without shouting about it, then I think you'll really like NailNation 3000 Holo Dreams.
Dazzled is an online indie polish retailer, based in Hong Kong, which ships internationally--and in checking my links, I actually just noticed that they're having a Chinese New Year sale! Looks like it's 20% off right now on a bunch of polishes like Shimmer, a England, My Ten Friends, and Happy Hands!
