butter LONDON Trustafarian

Butter London Trustafarian was one of the first polishes I ever put on my Wish List. I finally got my hands on it during my last trip to the States, but took me a while to bust it out, I think mostly because after waiting so long, I didn't think it would live up to the anticipation. Well, nuts to that, because I wore it, and it was full-on awesome! Take that, unrelentingly cynical nature!

Trustafaian made for one of those days when you just can't stop staring at your nails, sneaking little peeks at them and smiling... If you've ever been on the fence at all about whether to get this one, please allow me to push you off that fence and into a springtime happy playground of wonder and love and also delicious pie or whatever dessert happens to cream your Twinkie. Possibly Twinkies. Yes, I wandered off track there just a bit.

butter LONDON Trustafarian is a gorgeously lemon-lime green with a perfect amount of scattered holographic shimmer. I kept thinking of words like "sparkling" and "refreshing." It was all very Sprite and 7up. This was 3 coats of Trustafarian with a layer of top coat sandwiched in between 2 and 3 (to improve wear without dulling the 3rd coat's holo), and it applied every bit as beautifully and easily as I've come to expect from butter LONDON.

I could go on, but I think you probably get the gist. Rave, rave, love it, love it, awesomeness. And now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go see if I can find some pie. And possibly a Sprite.

    1. Aw, that's so sweet of you to say, Ariel--thank you! It did feel like an especially "good nail" day when I took these, but some days are a lot rougher than others. Today, for example... :-p

    1. Thank you very much! I do love a good, strong holo, but I think subtle really works with this soft shade of green. ^_^
