When I first picked up Color Club New Bohemian on my last shopping trip, I had a brief moment where I thought, "Don't I already have a lot of similar polishes?" but that nonsense was quickly squashed. Of course I have some similar polishes. Because I love them. And there is always room for more.
This is three coats of Color Club New Bohemian, from the autumn 2011 Back to Boho Collection (and thanks very much to my dyslexia, which twice had me just type that as "Back to Hobo"). With an even first coat, you could easily get away with two for daily wear, but since some of my first was a bit streaky--as first coats often are--I did a good three before I was ready to top coat and take pics. New Bohemian also dries to a semi-matte finish, but SV popped the creamy shine right up.
Similar to my favourite shades like China Glaze For Audrey and Skinfood Green Bean Milk,
New Bohemian skews just a bit more green, with a slightly dusty,
vintage feel. It's like antique jade and teal had a gorgeous baby, and I
want to paint flowers all over its little face.
(Note to self: wear this again, and paint flowers all over its face.)
Am I ever going to have enough turquoises and minty teals? No. No, I am not. And I'm okay with that.
Exactly - you cannot have too many polishes in the shades you love - period ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this one too!!
I've had this polish for so long and STILL haven't tried it :(. I need to change that. Looks great on you hon.
ReplyDeleteI love these kinds of colors. Back when I started doing my nails (not so long, only a couple years back) the first non-muggle color I REALLY wanted was a turquoise like For Audrey. Around that time, sadly, China Glaze wasn't available where I lived so I was much excited when I came across Orly Gumdrop. Still love it. I haven't seen this Color Club around, but I'm sure it'd also join my stash if I did lol. Looks amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteHE :)) I never have the same shade although I have :)) I understand you :)

You do great nails but, honestly, I'd read anything you'd write because you are sooooo funny! Thank you for sharing your gift of humor. And, oh yes, thank you for all your great nail designs too. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is ALWAYS room for more :) Love this shade!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more! These shades are awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA. I have this problem with turquoise and minty teals as well! Just the other day, I was contemplating buying another turquoise when I compared it to my current (turquoise) mani. And, it was practically the same colour... so I left without it, and chuckled to myself. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this colour! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePretty! I also love colors like this.
ReplyDeleteI have some polishes that are similar to this one, but I'd gladely have also New Bohemian in my collection! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis color is so refreshing and pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to have new Bohemian in my collection as well as the other minty teals.
ReplyDeleteSuch a you color! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, colors like these are just plain awesome ♥.
ReplyDeleteLove this one. Bought it a few months ago and just wore it last week. Had the same thoughts on the vintage quality of the color, as well. Lovely swatches!
