Milani Chocolate Sprinkles

One thing I miss about living in the States is being able to walk into a CVS or Target and just go nuts on the nail polish aisle (or even aisles...swoon!). And did I just not notice it before, or have "drugstore brands" seriously upped their game in the last few years? Case in point, Milani and the polish I'm wearing today, Chocolate Sprinkles, from their spring 2012 CVS exclusives.

Milani Chocolate Sprinkles swatch

Maribeth sent me this beauty in a Secret Santa swap, and I absolutely love it! Milani Chocolate Sprinkles is a rich, chocolatey brown with the most amazing, foil-like, golden shimmer. The brown is warm and appealing, and the multi-hued shimmer is fabulous. And the formula is awesome too! Easy to control and well opaque in two coats. Browns may not be everybody's thing, but this is such a rich, inviting shade, and the sparkling shimmer just kills me. So, so pretty!

I feel like I should be saying more about Chocolate Sprinkles, but the highlights are pretty easy to hit: 1) Gorgeous colour and shimmer; 2) Awesome formula; 3) I really do love it to bits! Thank you so much, Maribeth!

  5. That's a wonderful colour, very rich and a beautiful shimmer. I am really a fan of brown but only after I really got into nail polish.

I also feel the same way about the States. Here in Canada, drugstore brands are still average $8-10. I would die for the Sinful and Pure Ice polishes that they have for $2.

    1. Thank you, Meghan! It took me a little while to branch out into brown too, but now I totally love it, especially awesome ones like this!

Hehe, the next Sinful and Pure Ice displays I see are gonna get totally obliterated. :P
