For my second day of Purple Week, I went indie glitter with Lush Lacquer Perky Plum! This is a fun, festive glitter that contains...wow, a lot of
stuff. I see hexes of tiny purple and medium teal, gold squares and small bars, tiny teal mini-bars, and an infusion of a micro,
iridescent silver. The base is a plum-tinted jelly that could
possibly build to opacity, but I'm wearing just one coat of it here over
OPI Do You Lilac It?.
Application was just great! I applied it with the brush a little flatter to the nail than usual, instead of using just the tip, and coverage was smooth and even. No dabbing at all! Unfortunately Perky Plum doesn't seem to be available on either Llarowe (where I purchased it) or Lush Lacquer's Etsy store, but if it does make a comeback, I definitely recommend it...which is saying something, given it combines both purple and bar glitter, neither of which I love, but both of which work together beautifully here.
As for the OPI Do You Lilac It?, it's a bit more plainly purple than I prefer, but the formula was typical OPI awesomeness. If you do like true purples, this would be a fantastic shade, especially with spring coming. In the future I'll probably try Perky Plum over something like China Glaze Elephant Walk. This being Purple Week, though, I actually got out a paper plate and tried this glitter over all my purple polishes, and Do You Lilac It? easily got the nod for how well it complimented Perky Plum.
Can't wait to see what Amanda did for her side of the challenge! I am told there will be glitter...^_^

very pretty! I like the OPI base too!
