Today's purple polish is Color Club Wild At Heart, a grape, scattered holo that went nuts in the sunlight, appearing almost linear...
My poor camera nearly lost its mind trying to capture this one. Between the glaring sunlight and the flashing, holographic sparkle--not to mention the deep, purple colour--I could practically hear it groaning, "Woman, are you serious?!" So I have to give my Nikon Coolpix S9300 some major props for rising to the occasion.
Wild At Heart's formula was awesome; for shorter nails than mine, it's a great one-coater! It doesn't have the same holographic shine indoors as the Halo Hues line, but then, few holos do. When I came inside, the particles became a pretty, lavender shimmer that still showed glints and gleams of rainbow flare.
I jumped the queue yesterday with a dusty, grey plum so that I wouldn't
be showing two bright purples back to back. With that break in between,
I'm liking this one a lot better now. I'm still not crazy about Kool-Aid
grape purple, but that's so not this polish's fault--if you like
purples and holos, you'll love Color Club Wild At Heart.
Tomorrow is the last day of Purple Week, which means Amanda is nearing the end of her week of teal! I'm already wondering what colour we're each going to pick when the field's wide open again. ^_^
