Guest Post at Amandalandish

Today is my first ever guest post, for Amanda of Amandalandish! I started with a gradient in mind, but things went in an entirely different direction...

purple and teal sponged manicure

As satisfying as it is when a plan comes together, sometimes it's fun just to play around and see what happens instead. For more, please visit Amanda's awesome blog!

  1. Oh I thought it was a brush splatter for a moment. These look gorgeous though Liz! Never would of thought it was sponge on!

    1. Thank you very much! I've only tried one splatter before, but it looked like a clown exploded. >_<

  2. Looks like a rare unfinished stone...or something. The color combos are very nice. I think it turned out well.

    1. Thanks so much! It really is fun just to play sometimes, isn't it? Sometimes I get all cranky because things aren't turning out just the way I wanted, but you're so right--you never know what you'll wind up with when you let go and experiment a little!
